Sunday Sparkles

TopTOPSHOP
Jeans TOPSHOP
Shoes - PRIMARK
Bag - VIVIENNE WESTWOOD (similar here)
Watch - MARC JACOBS

I'm so disappointed I have fallen so behind on blogging but I started my third year at university last Monday and have been inundated with work already (help!)
Hopefully from now on I will be posting 3 - 4 times a week.
On Sunday I took time out to go to a restaurant in Manchester for my cousins birthday. It's pretty well known with Mancunians called 'Wings' and is filled with plates signed by various celebrities.
As it was a Sunday night I went for a casual but still dressy outfit with this lush lurex glitter high neck top from Topshop and my favourite go-to jeans 'Joni' jeans from Topshop.

These jeans have been a firm favourite since they first came into stores but they've been made with a new stretch fabric that makes them literally the comfiest jeans ever.

This beautiful Vivienne Westwood was a treat I bought last New Years Eve with Christmas money and it will continue to be my baby and come out year after year! Handbags are my weakness and absolutely an investment I stand by.

Finally these Primark boots have been mistaken quite a few times for the Topshop heels that are similar. Only the Primark version were a third of the price! I have been missing out on Primark for years as I have never had the patience to shop in such a huge shop filled with people but I've finally taken the dive and I have found some absolute spot on buys that I will hopefully blog about in the near future!

Winter Blues

Coat - RIVER ISLAND
Top - RIVER ISLAND
Skirt - ASOS
Boots - NEXT

I am so ready for winter now, don't get me wrong, like every other person I love summer but I hate the transitional phases. I just want to wear cute coats, hats, gloves and scarves.

As I mentioned in my previous post here, I am hooked on tartan/check (think I should've been born Scottish). I bought this gorgeous skirt as soon as it came in stock for a friends 21st and I am so glad I did. It's super soft and to size and will be a winter wardrobe staple for me.

This absolute beauty of a coat is from River Island, it was almost impossible to get hold of in smaller sizes but thankfully I was able to get my hands on it through store order (they have extra sizes especially for this!). Elle magazine are also currently running 20% for the October edition which has to be redeemed in the first week of October (I think) but it definitely saved me a few pennies!

River Island should be running a student event with 20% off soon for all fellow students who fancy a lush coat like this!

Tartan Tubes

Trousers - ASOS
Jumper - MISGUIDED
Boots - ZARA (similar here)
Hat - Primark
Bag - Primark

I am still very much getting used to outfit posts and just generally blogging but hopefully I will get better.

I have been lusting after this jumper for a while which is part of a co-ordinate from Missguided.
It's super fluffy and so comfortable I've seen a lot of people asking on Instagram comments about the sizing of this but it's definitely to size with more than enough room so I'm glad I didn't size up!

Tartan is my absolute weakness. These pants are a dream. I have been cursed (or blessed, whichever way you want to look at it) with a bum and as most pears/apple shapes know, tube pants are not our friends.
However, these beauties are definitely a friend everyone needs. Super stretchy and they keep everything in place. Even Nicki Minaj could shoe horn herself into these.

Unfortunately the boots are now sold out but I was kindly given these by my aunt who has the most sensitive feet ever and can't walk in anything remotely fashionable so I often get her brand new shoes that she has never worn! yay for me! - not so yay for her.

Finally, unbelievably I have never been in Primark until a few weeks ago. I'm a super lazy shopper so places like Topshop and River Island that colour co-ordinate and put outfits together on my behalf are my holy grail. I am literally the biggest convert ever though, it is so worth the extra shopping time and I have found some amazing buys including this hat which was only £8 compared to the £20+ elsewhere but was the last in black in Manchester (still available in Burgundy!).

Hopefully I will get better at this blogging business but maybe not?
